Mind maps and flow charts can be very useful tools for diagnosing processes, technical issues, and projects. Behind the Glasses posted a good article on using Fishbone or Ishikawa diagrams for problem solving. The Ishikawa diagram has been used since the 60’s, and is still as relevant as when Kaoru Ishikawa designed it.
