Sharing Tasks Is Easy With Task2Gather

Looking for a way to share tasks with your team or even family members? Task2gather may be the solution. T2G is a web based application targeted at enhancing collaboration of projects and tasks.

One of the more interesting aspects of the product is the fact that it was built out of necessity. According to the T2G website, the team created it because they couldn’t find an existing application that had the features they were looking for. Will it fit all your needs? I don’t know– you will have to be the judge of that. It does however appear to be a very functional task management system.

So, Task2Gather is a “one-place-for-all-tasks” service, i.e. for a user it’s where he keeps all his personal tasks, personal to do lists, business projects in which he participates, household chores and other family care tasks, etc. Task2Gather is a means of communication within projects between absolutely different people that can belong to completely different groups (family members, colleagues, discussion groups, research teams, etc.).

The designers state that their goals are to provide the following in T2G:

  • Simplicity
  • High Performance
  • Sharing
  • Flexibility
  • Mobility
We are sure that Task2Gather will meet all these requirements and that we will find many users who will like our approach and our ideology of task and project management explained in short as “simplicity + sharing.
I thinks they have done a good job meeting their goals. The product is simple and easy to use– its also free.

Got an iPhone? Task2Gather has it covered. The iPhone client can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for $4.99.

The Windows Mobile version is just down the road according to the website. They don’t give any specific dates, but infer that it should be soon.

Another nice feature the ability to export tasks to an ics file (iCalendar).
Check it out– its a great way to share projects and tasks.
